On Friday May 18th, we finished our last DLR of the year..... 180 of then to be exact! We needed to celebrate : )

Our School Wide Easter Party
We would like to thank the Edinburg PTO, staff, and volunteers that helped make this day possible. We had so much fun playing games, coloring eggs, decorating sugar cookies, and finding eggs outside. What a blast!

WE DID IT!!
After working hard to fill our button jar, we finally earned our ice cream party. We earned buttons throughout the year by "doing the right thing" in our classroom.

We would like to thank the Mr. Moore's 6th grade class for inviting us to watch a play the students created about cyber bullying. We learned how to identify cyber bullying and what to do if we ever found ourselves in this situation.

The 2nd grade was delighted to watch the Drug Quiz Team practice for their competition in Johnstown. Great job to all that participated!

When we came back from lunch on March 16th, we found that someone made a mess of our room! The Leprechaun even left us a message and some gold coins to look for...
He even took everything off Ms. Collins' desk and placed her things on other desks...

The second grade was honored to have Kathy Dougherty, Superintendent of Northville Central School, come in as a guest reader. She read, Daisy-Head Mayzie by Dr. Suess, to us. We enjoyed our guest and the story.
We were delighted to have Heather and Chloe, Mrs. Fleck's sister and niece, come in as a guest reader on March 5th, 2012...

Kudos to the 3rd Grade!!!! On February 16th, the 3rd grade invited us to watch a Readers Theater, "Space Wrecked!"

Before going to see the Nutcracker, we wanted to learn about the different characters. So, we made a little play for our classroom. This is Daniel acting as the Nutcracker and God Father.

Fire Safety Week
We were honored to have the Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department come in and give a presentation on October 14th, 2011 for Fire Safety Week. Make sure you change your smoke alarm batteries when the clocks change and also have an evacuation plan for your home in the event of an emergency.
